About First Priority Care.
We're a registered NDIS provider based in Queensland, built around one simple belief: great care starts with actually listening.

Where Your Care Is Our Priority.
Great support starts with really listening. We're a Queensland registered NDIS provider with over five years caring for people with complex needs, disability and ongoing health challenges across Brisbane and the regions nearby.
We stay small on purpose, so you're never just a number. Our nurses, support coordinators and support workers take the time to know you, your routines, your goals and the people who matter most, and they turn up the same way every time.
Everyone on our team is screened and our nurses are AHPRA registered, so your care is safe, steady and built around you.
Registered & audited
NDIS Registration ID 4050141489. Audited against the NDIS Practice Standards.
Care that fits the life
Plans designed around your routines, your goals, and the people in your world.
The same faces
Consistent teams who get to know you, not strangers cycling through.
Quality, not volume
We stay deliberately small so every participant gets real attention.
Built around the people we support.
First Priority Care was founded with a clear purpose: to provide disability and nursing support that is genuinely personalised, not just a service ticked off a list. Over five years, we've grown into a trusted NDIS provider supporting hundreds of Queensland families across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Redlands.
We started because we saw participants being cycled through providers without consistency: new faces every week, care plans built around provider convenience rather than participant goals. We set out to do it differently. Smaller, more deliberate, and built around the people we support.
Led by a nurse.
Sam Wagle
Founder & Registered Nurse
AHPRA registered · NMW0002343116
First Priority Care is nurse-led in the literal sense. Sam is a Registered Nurse and founded the organisation, and clinical decisions sit with the nursing team rather than with a roster.
In practice that means a registered nurse writes the clinical care plans, assesses support workers before they deliver high intensity supports, and reviews the guides we publish on this site. If your needs are clinical, that is the difference between a change being noticed early and it becoming an admission.
You can check that registration yourself on the public AHPRA register. We would rather you verified it than took our word for it.

A multidisciplinary team.
Our multidisciplinary team includes registered nurses, enrolled nurses, support coordinators and experienced support workers. All team members hold current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and relevant qualifications. Our clinical staff are registered with AHPRA.
We invest in ongoing training so our team stays current with best practice in disability support, manual handling, restrictive practices, and clinical care. We also run our own internal competency assessments for high-intensity support skills.
What we believe.
Dignity first
Every participant deserves to be treated with respect, privacy and dignity at all times.
Transparency
We communicate clearly with participants, families and support coordinators. No surprises.
Accountability
If something goes wrong, we take responsibility and fix it. We maintain a robust incident management process aligned with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
Person-centred practice
Supports are always built around the participant's goals and choices, not our convenience.
