About First Priority Care

Where Your Care Is Our Priority.

Great support starts with really listening. We're a Queensland registered NDIS provider with over five years caring for people with complex needs, disability and ongoing health challenges across Brisbane and the regions nearby.

We stay small on purpose, so you're never just a number. Our nurses, support coordinators and support workers take the time to know you, your routines, your goals and the people who matter most, and they turn up the same way every time.

Everyone on our team is screened and our nurses are AHPRA registered, so your care is safe, steady and built around you.

  • Registered & audited

NDIS Registration ID 4-J8DTEN1. Audited against the NDIS Practice Standards.

  • Care that fits the life

Plans designed around your routines, your goals, and the people in your world.

  • The same faces

Consistent teams who get to know you, not strangers cycling through.

  • Quality, not volume

We stay deliberately small so every participant gets real attention.

The nursing team has been brilliant with my dad's wound care. Patient with him, patient with us, and clinically sharp.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

Quick answers about how we work, what we cover, and how to get started.

What happens if my regular support worker is unwell?
We plan for it. Every participant has a documented care plan with a primary and secondary worker, both of whom have met you before any shift. If your primary is unavailable, your secondary covers, with no break in continuity. For urgent unplanned leave outside business hours, our on-call coordinator answers on 1800 402 205 and routes a familiar replacement. We never send a stranger you haven't met.
How much does this cost me?
Nothing out of pocket. All our services are billed at NDIS price-guide rates and paid by your NDIS plan (or your plan manager). The first call to talk through your needs is free, with no obligation.
How quickly can you begin services?
Most participants start within 5–10 business days of a completed intake and signed service agreement. We acknowledge every enquiry within one business hour. For urgent or hospital-discharge situations, tell us when you call and we'll push it forward.
Is First Priority Care a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. First Priority Care is a fully registered NDIS provider. Our NDIS Registration ID is 4-J8DTEN1. We are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
What areas do you service in Queensland?
We service Brisbane (North and South), Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Redlands. If you're just outside these areas, give us a call. We may still be able to help, or point you to the right provider.
How do I start with First Priority Care?
Call us on 1800 402 205, email info@firstprioritycare.com.au or complete our online referral form. We'll get back to you within one business hour to discuss your needs and begin building your care plan.
Do I need an NDIS plan to access your services?
Yes, our services are funded through an NDIS plan. If you don't have a plan yet, visit our NDIS Guide page for a plain-English walkthrough, or call us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Can you support participants with complex clinical needs?
Absolutely. Our AHPRA-registered nursing team provides clinical supports including PEG management, suctioning, wound care, catheter management and complex medication administration. Our 24/7 Complex Care service is built for participants with high and complex needs.
What if it's not working out?
You can change providers at any time. That's your right under the NDIS. Our service agreements have a standard 14-day notice period, no fees, no questions. If something isn't working, please tell us first. We'd rather fix it than lose you.
