Sam founded First Priority Care and is a Registered Nurse. Clinical decisions sit with the nursing team rather than with a roster, which means a nurse writes the care plans, assesses support workers before they deliver high intensity supports, and reviews the guides published here.
We are not publishing profiles of the rest of the team yet. Each one needs the person's consent, a real photo and, for clinical staff, an AHPRA number we have verified. We would rather show you nobody than show you someone who does not exist. You can check the registration above yourself on the public AHPRA register.
The bar for joining our team.
- Mandatory checks before day one: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card (where relevant), reference checks with previous care employers, and right-to-work verification.
- Clinical staff: current AHPRA registration verified at hire and at every renewal cycle.
- Internal competency sign-off for high-intensity skills (PEG, suctioning, complex medications) before a worker delivers them to a participant, regardless of what their certificate says.
- Ongoing training: manual handling, infection control, restrictive-practice awareness and incident management, all refreshed annually.
