Our commitment

First Priority Care is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continuously improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Accessibility standards

This website aims to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), the widely recognised international standard for web accessibility. We strive to make our content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Accessibility features

Our website includes:

  • Skip link: A "Skip to content" link at the top of each page allows you to bypass navigation
  • Alternative text: All images have descriptive alt text for screen readers
  • Keyboard navigation: The site is fully navigable using keyboard only
  • Reduced motion: We respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting on your device
  • Text sizing: You can increase or decrease text size in your browser
  • Colour contrast: Text has sufficient contrast for easy reading
  • Form labels: All form fields have clear, associated labels
  • Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy and structure for screen readers

Known limitations

While we work to provide an accessible experience, some third-party content (such as embedded videos or forms) may have accessibility limitations. We're working to improve these areas.

Feedback and improvements

We welcome your feedback on accessibility. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please get in touch. We'll work to resolve accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
