Quick answer

Is there an NDIS provider in Coorparoo?

First Priority Care is a registered NDIS provider (ID 4050141489) based at 7 Main Avenue, Coorparoo 4151, the only office we run. We provide support workers, AHPRA-registered nurses, complex care, SIL and community access across Coorparoo, Camp Hill, Greenslopes, Morningside and nearby suburbs.

Our office

Come and meet us.

Coorparoo is not a service area we drive into. It is where our coordinators, nurses and managers work every day. Families are welcome to drop in and meet the people who will plan and run their support.

Why it matters

A provider next door turns up.

Most missed and late shifts come down to travel. A worker crossing the river in peak hour on Old Cleveland Road is a worker running late. When the team is based in the same suburb, that problem mostly goes away.

  • Our only office is here, so Coorparoo is where our coordinators, nurses and managers actually work
  • Short travel for workers means fewer late starts and fewer cancelled shifts
  • You can come in and meet the people who will run your support before you sign anything
  • A registered nurse is a few minutes away, not an agency booking away
  • We know the local hospitals, GPs and allied health well, because they are our neighbours
Local knowledge

Coorparoo and the inner south.

Coorparoo sits about four kilometres south-east of the CBD, between Old Cleveland Road and Logan Road. It is close to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Woolloongabba and Greenslopes Private Hospital, which matters for anyone with regular specialist appointments or recent hospital stays.

Coorparoo and Norman Park stations on the Cleveland line and the buses along Old Cleveland Road make community access practical without a car. When we plan outings, we plan them around those routes, and around the hills that make some streets hard going in a wheelchair.

Many participants here live in older Queenslanders and post-war homes with steps at the front. We look at access during the first visit and flag anything an occupational therapist should see before it causes a fall.

FAQs

NDIS in Coorparoo, your questions.

Is there an NDIS provider in Coorparoo?
Yes. First Priority Care is a registered NDIS provider (Registration ID 4050141489) with its office at 7 Main Avenue, Coorparoo QLD 4151. We provide support workers, NDIS nursing, complex care, Supported Independent Living and community access to participants in Coorparoo and the surrounding inner-south suburbs.
Can I visit your Coorparoo office?
Yes. The office is at 7 Main Avenue, Coorparoo QLD 4151, open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. You don't have to come in, since support is delivered at home and in the community, but plenty of families like to meet us first. Call 1800 402 205 so the right person is there when you arrive.
Do you have NDIS support workers in Coorparoo?
Yes. We match each participant with a small, regular group of support workers, so you are not explaining your routine to a new person every week. Being based in Coorparoo means workers covering this area have short trips between shifts, which is what keeps them on time.
Do you cover Camp Hill, Greenslopes and Morningside?
Yes. We cover the suburbs around the office, including Camp Hill, Greenslopes, Stones Corner, Norman Park, Morningside, Carina, Holland Park and Woolloongabba, and the rest of greater Brisbane beyond that.
Do you offer in-home nursing in Coorparoo?
Yes. We employ AHPRA-registered nurses who visit participants at home for clinical supports such as wound care, catheter care, PEG feeding and medication management. A nurse also writes the care plan and trains the support workers on any clinical task they do for you.
How quickly can support start in Coorparoo?
We reply to every enquiry within one business hour during office hours. Most participants start within 5 to 10 business days of a completed intake and signed service agreement, and Coorparoo is usually at the faster end because it is where our team is. For something urgent, call 1800 402 205.
Can you help someone coming home from the PA or Greenslopes Private?
Yes. Both hospitals are a short drive from the office. We can work with the discharge team on what support needs to be in place, including nursing visits, before the person comes home.
