Yes. Burleigh, Palm Beach, Currumbin and Coolangatta are on our southern run, staffed by nurses based in that half of the coast. Daily and second daily dressings are routine, and the schedule holds because nobody is commuting the length of the M1 to reach you.
Who reviews the wound if it is not healing?
Our nurse escalates with photos and measurements to your treating team at Gold Coast University Hospital or Robina, or to your GP, depending on who owns the plan. You will not be left watching a wound get worse while everyone assumes someone else is acting.
